Produced using recycled polyester derived from PET bottles and textile waste, T800 reduces petroleum use and contributes to lowering emissions. This yarn offers water resistance, superior elasticity, and moisture-wicking properties, absorbing at double the efficiency of standard polyester and drying 8 times faster than cotton. LAMEDA’s use of recycled Polyester in products utilizes approximately-saves 6 PET bottles from waste, supporting water conservation and minimizing synthetic waste in the environment.
This material is crafted from recycled nylon sourced from waste materials like discarded fishing nets and textiles. Compared to virgin nylon, recycled nylon reduces petroleum consumption, water usage, and energy demand, achieving over 50% reduction in carbon emissions.
